Biography

Cutler Real Estate asked Jessica a few questions so you can get to know her better, and here are Jessica's replies.

1. What is your professional/educational background?

Upon graduating high school, I entered the workplace as a retail sales associate and server in the restaurant industry. This led to a position with Culinary Imports, a specialty food importer and distributor in Dallas, servicing restaurants, hotels, and other distributors across the nation with an inventory of over 1600 unique products. I had to learn quickly, in a demanding fast-paced environment, managing logistics and daily operations, all the while engaging with clientele to better understand their needs and suggest complimentary items to accompany their orders. I have been fortunate enough to have been able to become a stay-at-home mother focusing my time and energy on raising my three children.

2. Why did you choose a career in real estate?

My interest in real estate was piqued from a very early age. My grandmother was a real estate agent. She would always take me with her to the office whenever I visited which planted the seed. That interest was nurtured even further as I grew up. My family moved frequently whenever my father was transferred. We were always looking at properties or staging our current home in preparation to go on the market. This has continued with my own family following my husband’s career.

3. What area do you live in currently and what do you like about where you live?

My husband and I relocated our family to northeast Ohio nearly seven years ago from Dallas, TX. We were attracted to the laid back, family-oriented lifestyle and countless activities year round. The sense of community found here is unparalleled in comparison to the many places I have lived. Furthermore, the neighborhood we live in is welcoming, close-knit, and filled almost entirely with other young families.

4. How do you spend your free time?

Most of my free time I spent with my children. All of my children are active in sports, so we spend most of our time attending all of the various activities. When I do have time for just myself, I am usually doing a craft of some sort.

5. If you could only keep 5 possessions what would they be?

1. Family photos
2. A watch that belonged to my son's late father
3. A quilt that was made for my son
4. Heirloom jewelry
5. chair that belonged to my great great grandparents

6. In one word, how do you think your friends/family would describe you?
