1. What is your professional/educational background?
1985-87 Ohio State University, 1987-1990 Capital University, 2001 Ohio State University, 2012 Hondros College Real Estate Licensee
2. Why did you choose a career in real estate?
My parents were real estate agents. When it came time to work, this was a familiar environment and many people suggested I'd be good at it.
3. What area do you live in currently and what do you like about where you live?
My husband and I moved to Westerville in 2000. Prior to that, both of us were born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. We chose Westerville for the excellent parks and walking paths. Our neighborhood is an older, established one with a homeowners association that provides a welcoming social scene. Westerville is very convenient to shopping, good schools, health care options and tons of sports and entertainment venues. We enjoy the Westerville Arts Festival and Fourth Fridays in downtown Westerville during the summer. There's a huge Rec Center on Cleveland Avenue that has something for everyone, including an amazing senior center. It's a family friendly area and the population is diverse. We feel safe here.
4. How do you spend your free time?
We enjoy family time. My husband and I enjoy reading, walking, caring for our West Highland White terrier, Bitsy, and we enjoy exercising and cooking.
5. If you could only keep 5 possessions what would they be?
My health, my mind, my faith, my family, and my dog. In terms of personal possessions that are of this world, I'd hang on to my phone, art supplies, computer, bible, and dry socks (from Forest Gump). Ha, ha.6. In one word, how do you think your friends/family would describe you?
Empathetic
