Cat Lover, Dog Lover, Family, Snowboarding
Cutler Real Estate asked Chris a few questions so you can get to know him better, and here are Chris's replies.
1. What is your professional/educational background?
I graduated from the University of Akron in 2010 with a Bachelor's in Business Administration. While going to school, I worked for Pepsi as a merchandiser and also tended bar in Portage Lakes. A couple years after graduating I started working as a project manager/estimator for a construction company. After starting my career in construction, I went back to the University of Akron and find myself just a couple classes away from obtaining another Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering. I have also flipped a couple houses and would like to continue doing more.
2. Why did you choose a career in real estate?
Combining my background of business, construction and residential homes made sense to pursue more opportunity in real estate and property management. One of my closest friends, and the officiant of my wedding, told me Cutler was the place to be.
3. What area do you live in currently and what do you like about where you live?
Currently, my wife and I live in Strongsville with our dog and cat. Strongsville is a great area with a ton of restaurants, plazas, Southpark mall... but soon we will be looking to move south into the Medina area. Specifically, we're looking going to be looking for areas south of Medina Square. Strongsville is great but we're trying to find a good mid-point between my family and her family to start our family. Medina is a great area with good schools and a great location for us.
4. How do you spend your free time?
I do a little bit of everything and like the challenge of learning something new. When I was younger, my free time would've been snowboarding, sports, video games or playing guitar. Now my free time is spent working around my house, looking for the next house to flip or even still snowboarding. I like to stay busy doing something - very rarely do I find myself sitting on the couch for too long. I get bored.
5. If you could only keep 5 possessions what would they be?
As long as I have my wife, my pets, a roof over our head and a vehicle to get to work, I can make do with everything else.
6. In one word, how do you think your friends/family would describe you?
